Zoo regards the way human beings keep animals around them for decoration and display. The use of photography to address this habit demonstrates the ways our vision filters and selects.

In these unmanipulated images the 35mm film camera records and superimposes the reflected cityscape as new settings for the animals. This interplay between the animal and its reflected surroundings, re-animates these creatures. Stuffed animals appear alive and living ones seem stuffed.
