HOME IS WHERE I WANT TO BE

Home is where I want to be
Audio visual performance at the Poetry café, London.
Waterstones Piccadilly Performance for peach with Grayson Perry.

Images of buildings, windows and net curtains disolve into one another to the soundtrack of a Talking Heads song, This must be the place.

The repetition of windows with no point of entrance, bricked up or blocked with nets and reflections expose defended human spaces; the viewer is kept outside but a human vulnerability and yearning for home is expressed in the song. Bittersweet, these defences expose our weakness, our vulnerability our longing.
